Glenna Cureton is a violinist and composer based in New York City.
She has had the pleasure of studying with Naoko Tanaka at New York University as well as Bayla Keyes at Boston University.
Ms. Cureton has also been fortunate to have studied composition with Judah Adashi, Martin Amlin, Rodney Lister, and Herschel Garfein.
Since completing her Masters and Artist Diploma degrees at NYU, Ms. Cureton has participated as a freelance musician in various ensembles from orchestras and chamber ensembles to inventive modern groups, musicals, and operas, including New Camerata Opera, NY Sound Circuit, and Mini Masterworks.
Ms Cureton’s compositions have been focused in chamber music with a desire to create an evocative and intimate experience.
