The groundbreaking silent science fiction of Fritz Lang, with the stunning original score by Bread and Anthime Miller from our inaugural season!

Set in a futuristic city where the elite reside in luxury above ground while workers toil tirelessly below, this visually stunning film explores themes of class struggle, technology, and the human spirit. Lang's visionary direction and innovative special effects bring to life a dystopian society teetering on the brink of revolution.

Bread and Miller’s sensational score captured the hearts of audiences in February 2025 with its lush orchestration for viola, cello, horn, woodwinds, piano and percussion. Vacillating between fully improvised and written this score taps into the excitement that audiences must’ve felt when the movie was first premiered. Leading our contemporary audience to experience this as not just a classic but also as if we truly have time travelled to the future.
